WELCOME TO EALING UNITED FC

We are Ealing United Football Club.

Based in central Ealing, we provide high quality coaching and competitive football for boys and girls from U7 to U16. We are affiliated to the Middlesex FA, playing in both the Middlesex Youth Football League and Harrow Youth Football League.

We welcome players for trials in our older age groups, while new players are invited to attend a free 'taster' session with our younger teams. We also run mid-week skill development sessions and 'training only' options, which are a great starting point for anyone new to the game.

We've had another successful season in 2023/24, with over 170 players representing our club. We're incredibly proud of our players, who are all enthusiastic, respectful and aspirational footballers. They continue to represent the club with pride. Some league and tournament victories along the way helped too!

Thank You Team Managers

As is the case at the end of every season, we say goodbye to a number of players, however we also wish farewell to some of our team managers too.

The team manager role is a vital part of our club, with each manager setting aside time each week to help coach and manage a team. It's a hugely rewarding experience for those involved, though one shouldn't underestimate the desire and commitment required to be successful in the role.

As the 2023/24 season draws to a close, we say thanks to the following managers who are moving on:

  • Ed (U7)

  • Cedric (U8)

  • Nic (U9)

  • Cliff (U11 Red)

We wish you all the very best moving forward. Thanks for being part of the Ealing United community.

U11 White - Osterley Rangers Tournament

U11 White were our representatives at the Osterley Rangers Tournament in early July. They arrived full of confidence and played some terrific football to win all four of their group games and top their group with 12 points.

The semi-finals proved a tougher affair, but they came up with the goods to win a closely fought match 2-1. Playing in their first ever final as a team, the boys dominated but couldn't find a way through a stubborn Junior Bees defence, meaning the match ended 0-0.

So penalties it was.

Unfortunately they couldn't quite get over the line, losing the penalty shootout to finish runners-up. They should still be incredibly proud of themselves on what has been a terrific season.

Hageland Cup Award Winners

To cap off a fantastic weekend at the Hageland Cup, we hosted an Awards Evening on our final night in Belgium. The event was a chance to reflect on the players’ hard work, commitment and achievements throughout the tournament, while being an opportunity to show our appreciation for our travelling supporters and tour sponsors.

Awards were presented across each age group

  • Players' Player – Voted by teammates for the individual who inspired and led by example.

  • Manager's Player – Chosen for outstanding performance, attitude and impact.

  • Supporters' Player – Recognizing the player who captured the fans’ admiration.

  • Best Teammate – Awarded to the player who embodied unity, encouragement and selflessness.

U13 Red - Gunnersbury Cup Trophy Winners

The U13 Red team had the good weather on their side for the Gunnersbury Cup tournament and started the group stage with a solid draw. This was followed by a win against their old rivals (and last year’s Cup winners), The Eight, before a couple of narrow losses put them in third position in the group and into the Trophy QFs.

Drawn against Hearts of Teddlothian Spitfires, they went behind, but battled back brilliantly, with goals from Harry and Alex ensuring they finished extra time at 2-2. 3 out of 3 penalties scored (Joachim, Caeden and Oscar) saw them through. The semi-finals had them playing The Eight again, controlling the game throughout but going behind. Their dominance paid off in the end as a late goal took it to extra time and then penalties. After Luke saved a penalty, Oscar drove home the decisive spot kick and they were in the Trophy Final.

The final was a nervy affair against FC Starz, but once they'd gone into an early lead via a goal from Harry, they managed to close out the game superbly and holding firm for a 1-0 win.
